By this time next year ( 2017) Germany plans to set the wheels on tracks for World’s First Hydrogen Train

The new silent Train called as Coradia iLint only emits an excess amount of steam into the atmosphere, and would soon be the alternative solution to Germany’s 4000 Diesel-powered trains. The train runs at a speed of 140 Kmph, slower than its other trains but efficient and clean. These can be used for shorter distances. The trains are yet to go through Germany’s federal approval, until which they go through testing.

One full tank of hydrogen in the train, It has the capability to complete a 500-kilometer journey. with a capacity to carry up to 300 passengers.
