‘Where words fail, Music speaks!’

The fair game of life, combining happy and sad moments gives us a mixed experience of joy and grief. In all these moments of our life, Music is always somewhere a hidden companion, helping almost every human being in on one form or another to utilize these moments to make them work up to best of their potential.  Music is a wider term and not just restricted to songs which we daily listen to. Instead, ‘Music’ is vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. 

Music stands as the best medicine for any stress that we humans feel. Many pieces of research claim that music is one of the most powerful remedies for solving up mental problems. Uses of music are adding up to a very speedy rate. Gone are those days when music was just a source of fun and leisure. Scientifically, music stimulates and utilizes many parts of the brain – it captivates and maintains attention. Music of every different genre holds its own unique importance. Some most common genres among them being, ‘blues’, ‘jazz’, ‘rock’, and the list goes on and on.

Remedies of music are not just restricted to relieving stress and delivering mental satisfaction. There are several therapeutic uses of music such as music activities strongly encourages social interactions and is also an effective memory aid. Also, music helps to tap peoples emotions and encourage related initiatives.

Unaware of these musical remedies, many critiques have been continuously discouraging the habit of listening music. Such people claim music to possess many mental hazards and hearing related problems. People should close their ears to such destructive pieces of advice and try to gain the importance of listening to music, keeping in mind the hazards of over-listening to music. Music has always been a source of joy since age-old times, and a constant companion forever.  So,
