At the Brinks of humanity, rises love. Speaking of Hurricane Harvey.
“The planet is fine. The people are fucked.”
― George Carlin
“You must not lose faith in Humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” “Let the first act of every morning be to make the following resolve for the day: – I shall not fear anyone on Earth.
In a world where humanity is just prone to dictionaries and movies, there comes another example where humanity stood for its kind. We’ve been hearing the news about Hurricane Harvey and the destruction it caused/(ing) in the Texas state of USA. News Channels have to literally update their charts to show colors varied by inches of rain fall.
At least 9 dead and thousands left behind their homes and the federal governments says nearly half a million will be seeking the assistance of flood recovery.
As civil volunteers have shown up at the relief areas, the perspective of the cause is not to be ignored, says “Climate activists”, it’s likely the greenhouse gases trapping heat in the atmosphere, the consequences of man made mistakes only makes the hurricanes worse than they are supposed to be, As Texas has seen nothing like this in recent history. And climate scientists also bring more sad news declaring that these levels of destruction will soon be the new normal and migration rates would only go higher.
Let’s say Hurricanes like Hurricane Harvey are now common. When countries like the United States have literally come down to the fundamental levels at Texas for the rescue operation. How many years would the third world countries need to recover if such disasters happen?
And then there is only one hope which can stand by us even in the eye of the storm. Yes, Humanity.
People are ready to volunteer in some way or the other. No, there isn’t a survey conducted. But look at the below image.
